Whelp.
That went frighteningly easy.
I have an all too bad feeling. o_o

Oh, Kip, what have you done this time… I have a really bad feeling about this too…

Reth Shannar on April 14, 2015 @ 9:16 AM Reply

I’d say the same thing she’s done the whole scene. Been about as subtle as a brick.

And while I share the general bad vibes about this conversation, I don’t think Big Tu Naul Hunter there is taking her too seriously. The bite from this will come later… possibly when the Zharus guard turn up looking for them with stories about how a Tree-Creature ate half a garrison in the middle of a city…

JaneB on April 15, 2015 @ 11:11 AM Reply

But they might be there already, or have sent information ahead; certainly there seemed to be gossip around. Just makes me twitchy…

And now he’s gonna be hunting them down and trying to kill Varony in his sleep…0/0

DeathDragon on April 14, 2015 @ 8:40 AM Reply

Uh oh…. ?

DeathDragon on April 14, 2015 @ 8:45 AM Reply

I think he is a gentleman, but seriously, this guy doesn’t look like he’d give up hunting Tree Hounds.

Denita TwoDragons on April 14, 2015 @ 10:50 AM Reply

Good grief, she’s not just an open book, she’s got every word written in twenty-foot-high neon red letters. Has she learned NOTHING in this adventure?!

Stampers Saverem on April 14, 2015 @ 5:40 PM Reply

Nope. Not a thing!

Wyvern on April 14, 2015 @ 12:41 PM Reply

If I were a bystander watching them, I would be pretty puzzled by their facial expressions and body language. They act as though they’re having a conversation, yet neither of them has said a word to the other.

D on April 14, 2015 @ 5:34 PM Reply

agreed its clear they are interacting without any words and thats strange.

D on April 14, 2015 @ 5:36 PM Reply

This scene seems a bit anti-climatic after all the speculation.

Stampers Saverem on April 14, 2015 @ 5:42 PM Reply

Oh, I expect the poop will still hit the fan somewhere down the line…..

You can’t be THAT naive without it coming back to bite you, eventually!

reynard61 on April 15, 2015 @ 1:41 AM Reply

Yeah… That promise has about as much chance of being kept as a politician’s promise to help the poor in a campaign stump speech.

TSK on April 15, 2015 @ 5:09 PM Reply

…..
You don’t draw this because you are enjoying to see my squirming
and face-palming ?

The promise: It could simply be that tree hounds are so unknown that
people are quite cautious to buy the fur (strange == possibly dangerous)
and that the amount of distance, preparation and danger to catch one isn’t
is worthwhile and he thought of giving it up anyway. But else…yeah, I
don’t trust your promise, pal.

Stampers Saverem on April 15, 2015 @ 6:06 PM Reply

Never trust anyone who kills Cute Lil’ Furry Woodland Creatures–

Even if they’re huge and could eat you for breakfast…..

(the Creatures, that is)

Varony: “I am NOT a Furry Woodland Crea–Wait! Did you say I was CUTE?”

l33tninja on April 7, 2016 @ 6:00 PM Reply

I have a baaaad feeling about this . . .

Bookwormgrl on May 3, 2019 @ 4:19 PM Reply

Because that will TOTALLY work.
